New motherboard. XP not yet activated.

I may need to replace the MOBO on my unit. I have already istalled but not
activated Home XP retail. Will the change in MOBO require a re-install or
repair, or will it just fly as is. I will be replacing the MOBO with same
make and model.

You might get lucky and not have to do anything since you're replacing
the motherboard with the same make and model. If not, you'll just need
to do a Repair Install.
