New motherboard under xp

Could any one help me with a issue that i have come across.

When upgrading my computer already loaded with winxp pro i have to reload my
original operating software when i change my mother board over. Is there
anything i can do before i upgrade my hardware to allow me to change over my
motherboard and other items without going through this process, and avoid
those blue screens

You can use the repair installation instead of doing a full reinstall of XP.
