Hi,

No problems I've seen in a number of systems. The one involving firefox has
not been shown to be caused by the update. It may simply be coincidental.

I had no problems installing it on an XP Pro system and on an XP Home
Edition system. I don't use Firefox either.

Set a restore point and then patch. (actually, I think XP will set the
restore point anyway).

I see where Microsoft has just issued this new patch:
"Critical Update for ADODB.stream (KB870669)" to
counter the problem that's been in the news lately. It
looks like it's a registry modification. Does anyone know
of any problems installing this update on an XP Pro
system? ( I don't use Firefox, which is referenced in an
above post).

Thanks!

Installed and working fine with Firefox, Mozilla, and (as far as I can
tell since I don't use it very often) Internet Explorer.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
