When I am viewing my calendar and I double click on a specific time, byt
default a new appointment window pops up.

Is there any way to set this so that a new meeting request window pops up
instead?

What version of Outlook are you using? When you open the new Appointment
window click on the Scheduling tab and enter the names of the invitees.
It'll automatically convert to a Meeting Request.

Hi Ben-

I am using 2003. And yes, I know that if I click on scheduling I can enter
names and it turns into a meeting request.

But it takes a lot longer for Outlook to recognize names when you enter them
in the scheduling tab, because it spends time searching for free/ busy info.
Also, there is no partial name recognition when entering under that tab; I
have to enter the entire name.
