New Lines after Paragraps - Deafult Setting?

After using the public Beta 2 of Word 2007, I have a few questions about
issues that are bothering me:

1) The deafult line spacing in Word 2007 is 1.15 lines. Is there any way I
can set the deafult back to 1.00 like it was previous versions of word (97,
2000, 2003 etc.)? I havent been able to find the setting to make it deafult,
and having to change it every time is quite a hassle.

2) Along the same lines, the option under "Paragraph" that says "Don't add
space between paragraphs of the same tyle" is by deafult, unchecked. This
was differnet in older versions, where this option was not available or just
not enabled. Is there any way to make this option checked by deafult so I
dont have to do it everytime I start Word?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Forgot I could edit normal.dot - whoops. But the issue still stands: these
new deafult settings may not be welcome by long-time users of Word, and in my
opinion, should be changed back to the old deafult settings (1.0 lines, no
spaces), rather than have new ones in (1.15. automatic spacing).

You can easily set your own default without editing Normal.dotm.

On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click Change Styles and from the
Style Sets, select "Traditional". If you want to make modifications to
the styles, such as remove the first line indent from the Normal
style, and then open Change Styles again and click "Set as default".

Your suggestion solution does work, however even for an experienced computer
user like myself, I would have never found that option if you had not told
me.
