New Laptop, Can't find Window xp!

I only find Windows XP Tour, and I need to type a letter. I have tried
finding it under Programs, but no luck. Is there maybe another name? The
computer states it is already installed. Please HELP!

You can't find Windows XP ?? That's your operating system.

If you are looking for Microsoft Word (or Microsoft Works) to type a letter,
they don't come with Windows XP. They are purchased seperately, but may be
bundled with your laptop.

Please post exactly what you're looking for.

Hi,

Click start/run, type write.exe and click ok. This will open Wordpad, the
default document creator that comes with WinXP.
