New Language Interface Packs

Microsoft has released new Language Interface Packs for Windows Vista. The
LIPs can be applied to all Vista editions as long as the parent language is
supported. These language packs are not Ultimate extras. Some restrictions
apply to Vista Starter. Also, new LIPs have been released for the Office
2007 products.

That is not entirely correct, there are more LIPs offered for Vista than
these. For those who need one that is not listed in this download, open up
Microsoft Download Center in your native language, and search for your LIP.
since you have to buy ultimate or business to get real language packs

According to MS, about 80% of the user interface is translated in a LIP. For
many of us, that well covers the parts of Windows we use daily.
(yeah, I know about that app that's basically a hack)

So do I, but has anybody actually risked testing it? To me it sounds like
something that is pretty likely to break, and eventually cause Windows to
turn into a useless non-genuine copy. But that's just me...
