New Journal entry

When I add a new contact, I would like that contact to be automatically added
to the journal contact list. How can I do this
 
Note:
You can only automatically record items in Journal for contacts that are
located in the main Contacts folder. Move or copy the contact to the main
Contacts folder to have the contact appear.

I created a new contact in the Main contacts folder, but the name when I
looked in the Journal under options was not checked.
