New Inbox?

Outlook seems to have suddenly created a new inbox in a folder called
archive and started putting my new mail in that rather than in the inbox in
my personal folder. How do I switch it back?

sorry, yes , Outlook 2000.

I have on the left a folder called archive folder with
calendar, contacts, deleted items, drafts, inbox (where all my mails are
disappearing to), journal, norton antispam folder, notes, outbox, sent
items, and tasks then personal folders with inbox sent etc and a lot of
personal categories that I have created as well as another set as in the
archive folder.

Before this happened outlook opened with an error message about did I want
to create a file. Can't remember the message exactly or what I did.

I'm guessing Internet Mail Only mode, but Help>About will say for sure.

Click on "Personal Folders" and then click File>Properties. There should be
an opton available that says something similar to "Delivery new mail here".
Select that option. Stop and restart Outlook.
