New Hard Drive?

I have a Pentium II, 350 mz with a 10G hard drive running
XP professional. I would like to install an 80G hard
drive and was wondering if XP would support it?

It should. I am running XP and using
a 120gb and one 80gb HD in the same
computer running xp pro.

If your BIOS does not support that large of a drive as a since partition,
you could format it down to 20GB or 30GB partitions which should easily fall
within the acceptable range for your slightly older machine.

How do you know your running the same computer, he mentioned no manufacturer in his post. Just because you have a PII system that
supports an 80 GB drive doesn't mean his will.
