After installing a new hard drive I get from the New
Hardware Wizard the message"the specified service does
not exist as an installed service"

Did you go to disk management to initialize, partition and format the new
drive????

yes the drive works, I can write and read from it but

the Wizard keeps trying to install drivers for it.
