Where are they? I've looked, but couldn't find any specifically for Epress.

I don't know that there are groups specific to only the Express products,
but the newsgroup community here,

http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/community/

seems to already be quite well-developed and many of the posters
probably are using Express.

They're not on the public microsoft newsgroup NNTP server, perhaps
that's why some users haven't discovered them yet? It takes a few
steps to navigate through MSDN's Development Centers to reach
them. The "Newsgroups" link on the afforementioned URL contains
the information necessary to log on.

I think it's a better venue because it's garnered thousands of users
already, and that would be difficult to develop on your own.

Not that you shouldn't try starting your own community, I think every-
one would be happy to see you succeed. It's just going to be a lot of
work. I promise developing a successful community is more than
just creating a group and posting a few announcements -- it's a full-
time job to create a compelling environment that wins an audience
over with advantages they can't find elsewhere.

When .NET first came out there were hundreds of little communities
that sprang up initially, only a handful of them like the C# Corner
managed to prosper, and that process of Natural Selection was
a good thing.
