New Fonts

How can I use/access/import new fonts that I have downloaded in Word? I get
them as ttf files, but then I can't figure out how to do anything useful with
them. Please help!!

Not sure what you mean by 'downloaded in Word'. You install fonts using
control panel > Fonts -- elect Install New Fonts from the File menu.
Depending on your computer's settings you may also be able simply to copy
the ttf files to the fonts folder (eg Windows\Fonts or Winnt\fonts).
