I am using a newly downloaded script font in powerpoint. It looked great
typing into the text boxes, and even printed great. But then I went back to
open the file, and the scripted font was all layered on top of each other,
and not spaced out like a normal font. How can I get it looking normal again?

I've seen this happen a few times, and I still don't know what the problem
really is.

Two different things have resolved it for me, though.

One is to change hardware acceleration. See
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00129.htm

The other is to reapply the design template to the presentation.

Well, neither suggestion worked. Darn! Any other advice out there?

Check to see whether you've got another font installed that has the same name or
possible both TT and Type1 versions of the same font. That's been known to
cause this problem.

You might also try uninstalling the font, restarting Windows and then
reinstalling it. Possibly from a newly downloaded copy.
