new emails go to deleted items folder

When I go to retrieve my email - for some reason, instead of going to
the inbox - they go to the deleted items folder. I do not have any
rules or filters setup. Any help is greatly appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in the same exact boat. Has anyone found an answer to this odd problem?
Support tells me to reinstall the sofware which I don't think will help. I
had this same problem on my other computer.
