New email is dissapearing from inbox

New email messages in Outlook received from outside sources is appearing in
inbox for only a few seconds and then disappearing. This is not happening
with email from withing my domain. All filters and rules have been turned off
or deleted. Auto archive has also been turned off. This doesn't appear to be
an Exchange server problem because mail is received with no problem using
OWA. In face, I've had OWA up for the past hour or so and received several
emails. I went back in to Outlook to troubleshoot some more and when I did a
new email was received, then it was gone in a flash and took all the messages
that had been received while in OWA along with it. I should add that I
checked my Exchange mailbox... the size is decreasing when the emails
dissapear so they are not simply being moved to a Junk folder or elsewhere.
Also, our anti-spam software quarantines suspecious messages before they ever
reach my inbox, not after. I've check all the obvious issues. Can anyone
help? This is getting serious.

Check your View settings to make sure you are showing all mail, not just
unread items.

Is Outlook configured with the delivery location set to a PST? Are then any
add-ins scanning incoming mail?
