Argumentum ad ignorantiam, Pignatelli. Somethang don't have tuh be true

This is LOT of $'s. For what you're planning to use the pc for, you can
find lots of great boards between $80 and $120.
Case Antec Sonata II $119.00
This is a very nice case - but is less at newegg. Also, the SLK3700BQE is
virtually the same case but $40 less.
Memory Corsair VS2GBKIT533D2 2GB Kit DDR2-533 PC2-4200 Value Select Memory
Retail $186.00
CPU Intel 830 3.0GHz $338.00
Personally, I'd go with an AMD 64 - they're usually about $100 less for the
same performance.
SilentCooling Zalman CNPS7700-CU CPU Cooler Retail $45.00
The AMD 64 cpu's run cooler than Intel => you can use a less expensive/less
complex to install cooler. Thermaltake and Artic Cooler make very competent
ones for AMD 64.
Video Card Asus Extreme AX300SE/T $63.99
I assume that's a PCI Express card - from everything I've read, PCI express
is not yet bringing any difference in performance [and, when it does it'll
be in $300+ cards]. At the same time, for working with Photoshop, I'd look
to spend ~ $100 on an AGP card.
Hard Drives Western Digital Caviar SE WD2500JD 250GB Serial ATA 7200RPM
Hard
Drive w/8MB Buffer and Serial ATA Cable Bundle $121.00

DVD NEC ND-3520A 16X Double Layer DVD±RW Bare Drive $49.00
Isn't it amazing how the price for DVD drives have come down! 1X DVD drives
were $300 not too long ago.
