posted before but could not find it again. have older HP deskjet 932c printer that did not work properly when upgraded to XP PRO. Hp said to down load new driver, unable to because of slow dial up connect so went to computer store and had them down load it to a CD. Now I am unable to load the drive XP uses it's own drive which has removed several options and settings for the printer. I did notice that when I go to the E drive and look at the file in printer drivers it shows ann executable file name but when I use the XP wizard to ytry and loak the file it shows a file name called *.inf and then will not open the file. is this the problem or is it something else? I am wasting a lot of paper and ink with the settings the current drive lets me use.

Cut and paste the executable file that you see on your E drive [which I
assume is the CD] in a file on your computer and then open it.
