Just installed a D-Link Desktop Adapter to a PC to connect to my other 2
wired PC's. PC has given me an error message where Windows has shut down to
prevent PC damage and I get a couple of STOP messages after this message:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and then 2 A3AB.sys addresses. Anybody
familiar with what I'm looking at? The wireless PC was just hooked up and
although I had full internet access, I could not share with the other 2
PC's. This crash has occurred twice today so I don't think I'll be
attempting to share anything until I resolve this issue first. Just not sure
if the error messages point to the adapter or something else occurred. All 3
PC's are XP-Home SP-2. Thank you, Steve T.

I have checked at their site and my adapter is not listed so I assume my
driver(s) are up to date. I did submit a query to tech support though just
in case. Do the error messages I listed imply an adapter/hardware problem?
Thank you Richard, Steve T.

Have you checked the Dlink site for updated drivers?

No. They imply that you have a driver problem.

I went into Device Manager and disabled the LAN card and then ran Network
Wizard on all three PC's. The wired PC's share but the wireless does not,
"access denied..." I'll work on that. The wireless PC has been on for about
12 hours and still no crash so maybe it was the LAN card thing. That's much
better than yesterday. Still no word from D-Link on whether I have current
drivers or not. Thank you, Steve T.
