New COM port installation

My WIndows XP has only COM1 listed. I need to add a COM2
and COM3. When I go to add hardware, it asks for driver
location. I can't find the driver "INF" file anywhere on
the Windows XP CD or in the System32 subdirectory.
Please help !

Hello

Can you provide your pc type and model or what you can do is
on your pc go inot the System Bios and make sure that your Com
Ports are turned on ok.

Bios does not show but one serial port setting of
3f8/IRQ4. I'm using Windows XP on a clone.

Well on the back of your pc how many com ports do you
see, or is their 2 9pin serial ports on the back, yes or No

Well if you not have any you may have to go out and purcahse a
card that can provide you will additional com ports, guess the Tech
that built it for you only provided on com port. Another option
contact hi if you can
