UPS on USB

I have an APC UPS that connects via USB. In the XP power
management there is a tab for setting up communications
and options for use with a UPS. Unfortunatley, the only
com options that are offered are the standard com ports,
com1, com2, and com3.
Is there a way to get XP to recongize the UPS is on the
USB port??

You would need to download the PowerChute software from APC's web site.
(www.apcc.com)

BTW: Newgroups are used to "share" info between users, so we really only
reply to the group and not to your email.

Thanks y. I'm checking that in tandem with this. I have
the powerchute personal version and there seems that their
might also a config wizard that apcc offers to get the
native xp power options to work.
