New boot drive screw up

I used MaxBlast 4 to install new boot drive and copy all my files. After I
did this I did not see any problem right away so I formatted the old drive
for storage only.

Now it appears I am missing one or more XP management files. When I try to
view system information it says " Can't Collect Information - Windows
Management Files may be moved or missing". Does anyone know how to create
this file without reinstalling XP?

Also consider trying XP's repair option - second repiar option not the first
pertaining to the Recovery Console.
