How do I get rid of text that opens both on new blank doc. in WORD and
Outlook, same text. My boss has no idea how it got there and I cannot figure
out how to remove it! Thank you.

Stop using Word as your email editor.

From the FAQ:

28. My blank document has text in it - an old letter, etc. See
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/AppErrors/BlankDocNotBlank.htm.

Sounds like some text was saved to the Normal.dot, which is used by all new
documents unless otherwise specified. And the reason it shows up in Outlook
is that Word is set as your email editor.

Open the Normal.dot template and delete whatever text might be on the page
and then resave.

Normal.dot can be located by doing a file search from the Windows task bar.
