New ATI drivers fail to install !!!

I have ATI RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB.
I uninstalled the previous drivers.
At the end of the new installation, I'm getting
some kind of "failed to install CMV" or something.

Basically...it failed to install. Had to go back to
previous drivers.

WTF?????

OOps! Forgot to install service pack 1a. Installed ok.
