New ATI All-in-Wonder driver issue

In the lastest update ATI seems have shifted from a Rage Theater cature
driver to a AV Stream T200 or something like that.

The result is that all capture features are gone for all programs except
ATI's. The rage theater used to be recognised as the capture devive. This
was part of some WDM download and driver update.

Anyone with a 9800 All-in-Wonder or other ATI card have problems since last
driver install?

Yes : I too have a problem now with Movie Maker crashing, but I also now have
problems with ATI supplied Pinnacle Studio 9 (with 9.4 patch) AND with ATI
supplied Muvee autoproducer 3.5, all movie editing applications crash (latest
April 2006 ATI drivers, using ATI AIW2006 card). The new drivers do have the
advantage of no longer requiring a "Line In" connection to the sound card for
TV audio. I assume this is an issue that ATI will resolve in a future driver
update. In the meantime I am using anothe computer for video editing !!

I have found that if I manually change the Stream driver to an older ATI Rage
Theater Video driver, I can get the other programs to work. When I switch
back to ATI TV though, I need to change the driver back.

At least we know it is an ATI driver issue not a hardware problem. Have you
made ATI "catalyst crew feedback" aware of the problem ?
