New 2007 Ribbon Interface

I am sure this has all been discussed, but some things I have tried doesn't
quite work the way I thought it would in the new Access 2007.

Most of my databases are designed for an end user that uses more of a point
and click concept. To run reports, they just select the reports in a list
and preview them. Then print them if they wish.

I used to use the commandbars function in VBA to turn off the menu bar, then
re-enable it during a preview so the user can print the report.

That does not work now in Access 2007. I have played with the uSysRibbons
table and cut/pasted the code found on the internet to hide the ribbon.
That works find until the preview of the report. There is no way to print
the report of close it. The only way to get out of the preview is to close
the database.

I did try to place the hide ribbon on each form, and then un-hide it when
there is a preview, but that only seems to work when there is a form
property that I can set.

Does anyone know of a way to hide the ribbon, but make it available for
preview and printing of a report?

Thanks.
