New 2007 bcm customer - small business

I am involved in a new start-up business and we just purchase office 2007 &
are looking to 'share' the database for outlook bcm. would this need to be
located & shared on a PC everyone would access remotely that needed to use
it? any help or location of relevant information would be much appreciated.
