We are adding a computer to our Windows 2000 network. Have tried to map a
drive but the new computer does not see the network computer.
What am I missing???

You need to give us more information. Is this on a domain or on a peer
network? Can the new machine ping the the "network computer"? What
kind of error messages are you getting? Not being able to see the other
machines in the "My Network Places" is often a NetBIOS problem. With
the scant information that you gave us we can only guess and offer
common advice, give us more information.

For starters when you troubleshoot network problems make sure that
firewalls are not causing the problems, while you trouble shoot this
make absolutely sure that firewalls are out of the picture, temporarily
disable them if need be.
