How do I change the Regsitry settings to resolve the
Autoconfiguration IP Address 169.xxx.xxx.xxx?

I am not sure what you are asking. The Autoconfiguration adress is used to
tell you that the NIC is configured for DHCP and was unable to obtain an
address. The Pesence of the address is effectivelt an "error". Why would you
want to resolve it?
