networking xp pro with nt 4

I am installing a few new workstations w/ xp pro. the
server is nt4.0 it will find the user profiles when you
log in the first time, but as soon as you reboot the
computer, xp can no longer find the domain and user
profile. it will create a temp one with which u can't
save anything. help?

Scott,

I would first make sure that the XP Firewall setting is
disabled under the Properties of your LAN Adapter,
Advanced tab. I have seen this cause many people a lot
of lost time trying to figure why all of a sudden they
can't see a domain.
