Networking with XP Pro

I have 2 computers that were networked and everything was fine. They were
setup on MShome. I had some computer problems and after fixing them the
network does not work properly. My desk top computer is running XP home and
everything appears to be fine. It can see my laptop and share its files. My
laptop is running XP Pro. When I go to explorer on my laptop I can see the
desk top computer, but when I click on it I get the followinf mesage:
\\desk-top is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator.

The network path is not found.

Since this was working, I believe something got misconfigured when the
computer problems were fixed, but I cannot figure out what got misconfigured.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Bob

Bob,

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, but there are other possibilities too.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely:
