Networking with different op systems

I recently bought 2 new computers running windows xp
home . . . i followed all instructions to network 5
computers together (2 running ME and 1 running 98). 4 of
the computers recognize that there are 5 computers
networked togehter. The computer running Win 98 only
recognizes the computers running ME which were previously
on the network . . . I can't get this computer to
recognize the 2 new computers running XP home (even
though like I already stated the XP home machines
recognize the 98 on the network). What am I doing
wrong . . . any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like name resolution issue. try to enable netbios over tcp/ip first.
