Networking Windows XP host and Windows 95 client

I am trying to add a Windows 95 computer to my
networking. After completing the Home Network
installation wizard on XP and creating a Network Setup
disk I get an error message saying that only Windows 98
and up is supported by the setup disk.

Does anybody have any other solutions to this problem?

you dont have to use the disk.
give your XP computer the IP address of 192.168.0.1
mask 255.255.255.0

and the other machines (win95) ip address should be 192.168.0.x
(where X is different for each machine - eg- 192.168.0.2 , 192.168.0.3 ,
192.168.0.4
all of them must have subnet masks 255.255.255.0

If you want ICS (internet connection sharring) to work from the WINXP
machine to the WIN95 machines then you must also do the following on each
WIN95 machine:

1) on the tcp ip properties of their network adaptor cards enable the DNS
configuration with the IP address 192.168.0.1 in the dns server search order
box
int he box HOST you can enter anything like win95pc

2) and in the GATEWAY you must add 192.168.0.1
