Networking Win Xp notebook to Win Xp Desktop with crossover cable

I need some help networking between my laptop and desktop. I have a
crossover cable and although I've found some info on the net, I still
can't get them connected. Can someone run me through the process?

Run XP's Network Setup Wizard on both computers. It will set
everything up:
