Only reply by newsgroup. If I see an email I didn't ask for, it will be

If you buy a crossover-cable you can connect those two.
Make sure all computers are in the same workgroup (rightclick Network,
Properties, tab Advanced, properties) and that all useraccounts exist on all
computers (W2K/XP's). Make sure File- and printersharing is loaded? Make
sure Netbios over TCP/IP is enabled (Advanced properties of TCP/IP, tab
WINS).
W2K and XP can run native IP. NetBIOS over TCP/IP is only required if
connecting NT 4.0 and prior.
