Networking: Transmit but no receive

I recently got hacked and did the spyware removal thing
Problem is now I cant receive anything from the internet connection
If I try and use: repair it just tells me that it cant get an IP address

Maybe I deleted some registry stuff.....can anyone tell me what to look for

It seems that the machine can transmit still....
 
No, without an IP address it won't transmit either.
The only thing it will transmit is dchp requests.
Of course if you don't use netbeui or other protocols.
