Networking & SP-2

This has some simple solution I am sure but I just cant
seem to find the cure yet. I have Win XP pro on all five
of my home networked computers, all also have Panda
platinum AV with Broadband Firewall. I installed SP-2 on
my Host machine no problem all computers worked on
internet and could share files (MS firewal is turned off
since I already have Pandas on).
I installed SP-2 on machine B and from host & from C,D,E
machines I can see shared resouces/files on machine B
fine, plus the printer on b can be used by all. However
from machine B no internet access now or ability to see
host machine plus B can see all non SP-2 machines (C,D,E)
& resouces.
I have tried to run network setup wizard on B and host
machine no change in status. I have checked theIPconfig
and all is as ity should be since I use staticIP, I have
tried to change FIREWALL configurations & security
settings and policies to no avail as well(although I am
sure it is there somewhere).
One onther note of interest is that on host machine when
B machine restarts (this has happened five times out of
9) the host machine will get a fatal blue screen of death
being caused by Teefer.sys and the error report
explanation from Microsoft say it is caused by Sygate
personal firewall pro not on any of my machines unless it
is what MS is Using. The file Teefer.sys is the MS
firewall file since i searched for that filename and it
is in both ms firewall and Panda firewall, but pandas
version is TEEFER.sys not teefer.sys.
The error signature for this is as follows:
BCCode: be BCP1: F2E2ED2C, BCP2: 07CA0121, BCP3:
F3487668, BCP4: 00000008 OSVER 5-1-2600 SP 2-0 PROD 256-1

Dave,

sounds very much as if you need to enable the File and Printer
Sharing exception in the firewall of computer B.
One onther note of interest is that on host machine when
B machine restarts (this has happened five times out of
9) the host machine will get a fatal blue screen of death
being caused by Teefer.sys and the error report
explanation from Microsoft say it is caused by Sygate

Who made that file? It is not on my computer, so it is probably
not by Microsoft. Uninstall the program that introduced that
file for a test.

Fist solutiion posed was allowing file and printer
sharing exception on windows firewall. Windows firewall
is turned off on all machines and Panda firewall is on.
Which is the way it was originally before SP-2.
As to B machine the files and printer are accessable when
looking at any other machine into B. The main problem
being B canot hook up to internet or see the files on A
(host/server Win XP SP-2) Machine, it can see all other
non sp-2 win xp machines.

Second problem solution is to uninstall the file
Teefer.sys. Well when looking at the properties of the
two which are present Teefer.sys 84kb in
windows/system32/drivers is listed as a Sygate (company)
file which I thought was part of SP-2 and TEEFER.sys
54.5KB is panda software in
c:\programfiles\pandasoftware\panda antivirus platinum\
firewall is listed as a Sygate (company)file. I guess I
was mistaken since I was looking at so many things to
start off.

So the second problem sounds like panda is actually using
sygate personal firewall pro version 1.60.1101.

i'm havin the same problem w/ my machines. I have a
Linksys router & dsl connection. everything worked fine.
SP2 installed on machine A. now, A will not connect to
internet. It still sees machine B though. B can print
onto printer at A. B can connect to internet.

when i go into ipconfig i get a line:
tunnel adapter Automatic Tunneling Pseudo-Interface

i have no clue what that's doing there because it wasn't
there before and it's not present on machine B

i'm at a loss.. i don't know what i haven't tried. this
is about a week now its been like this.
