Hi Everyone,
I have a Windows desktop that is joined to the domain, but it won't process
group policies. Now before you refer me to the Group Policies group, I have
to mention that I've done some troubleshooting, and I've found that it's a
problem with the network card. It comes on the network after the computer
starts processing group policy stuff. I know this because I'm watching it
boot up, and I have a continuous ping window open and I can see when it's
live on the network, and when it isn't. It's not supposed to do that. Can
any of you help me?

Thank you!

Replace the NIC. If it is embedded on the motherboard, disable it in the BIOS and install
a PCI card.

You should get a USB ethernet adapter. I've had the same problem, and
this fixed it permanently. Call your ISP and they may provide you one
free of charge.
