Networking problems

Shane

I have 2 pc's both running XP. they are networked and
until the last week have worked fine. I had used the
networking wizard and they could see each other and share
the broadband connection.
Then three times in the past few weeks, for no apparent
reason, the pc's could not see each other or share the
internet connection.
I have run the networking wizard again and to start with
that solved the problem. Now its happened again and
depsite everything I do the pcs will not network.

No new programs have been loaded and even with
a 'restore' to 3 days ago the pcs will not net work.

What has been happening the past day or so though is that
when running the network wizard on the Host PC,at the end
of the setup, it has started to show an error
message 'Spooler Subsystem App..... SPOOLSV.EXE ...Ver.
5.1.26000.0 szModname: ntdll.dll....'

I have followed the online help but still no success.

Any ideas? (Virus checker up to date)
Cheers

I have been having the exact same problem in trying to
set up a connection share for satellite internet. We have
been fighting this for about 3 weeks. The only fix that
we were told about from Gateway was MS Article 810894.
You will have to mess with the windows registry. We have
not tried it yet (a little nervous about going there).
You can read thru it and give that a try.

Have fun!
