I have 4 computers on a wireless/cable network.
One of these computer (connected to the router with a
cable)has win xp and when I click on my
network place on this computer ,I see nothing.
No network.
If i run ipconfig /all,I see that this computer has an
IP address. This IP address is unique on the network.
If I try to ping this IP address from this computer,I
have a time out.
The firewall is off,Netbui is OK.
Internet is working.
When I ping Yahoo,it's working.
If somebody can explain to me where the problem is,I
will be very happy !!!

what is the exact reply u get from ping

So you have a ethernet router and a wireless network.

Probably your Wireless systems are on a particular subnet
and your Ethernet (connected to the router with a cable)
are using different IP schemes.
