Networking Problem

I'm building an image for an Intel 946GZ mobo. The lan driver is "Intel
Pro/100 VE" which after FBA appears to have installed correctly. Device
Manager seems happy, however, no dhcp IP address is every allocated. Booting
the machine with XP Pro is fine. I have componentized the driver. Looking at
the fba log, the snetcfg -mstcpip line shows error 0x4a020 which the docs say
is safe to ignore, but no other clues.

Any advise/help appreciated. Thx.

Peter,

Does the static IP setting work on that controller?

You may want to take a look at the \windows\setupapi.log file for more details on whether the NIC driver got installed correctly on
runtime.
