Intel Pro/100 VE Network Adapter

I am using the Intel Pro/100 VE Network adapter made by Brad combs that is
available on xpefiles.com. I import the sld file add the compenent to the
database and build an image. No errors. Runs through FBA. No errors.
Check device manager and the network adapter is disabled no driver has been
installed. Am i missing a dependancy here? any ideas?

I would ensure that the "Class Installer - Network adaptors" component is
included in the image. You may need to reduce your visibility level to 100
to see this component, located under Software>System>Systems Services>Base.

cal4,

Sorry for too general tip but did you look in to SetupApi.log? You will probably see the reason for the driver being disabled.

Cal,

Driver VID/PID might be unsupported if driver in component are the old one. But as Konstantin said check setupapi.log and.or post it
here.

I ran into this same issue at a customer site a few weeks ago. I ended up
importing the driver as given on their board's driver CD which had an
updated list of VID/PIDs (ie: superset compared to what was shipped by
Microsoft).
