send the other users on it email with out having an
exchange server? If so, how would that be setup. Thanks.

Hello Max,

to send email in a network you need a mailserver.

With Outlook 2000 you can use Postoffice:

With OL2002 you have also visit this website:
http://www.poremsky.com/msmail_xp.htm

or you go to download.com and search for Mailserver.
