networking LAN and Wireless

All-
I have a cable modem LAN (ethernet) and a wireless G. Both work fine except
my one laptop connects to the wireless as primary connection even though it
is connected to a cat5 cable. I have to disable to wireless on the laptop to
connect to the wired network.
Is there a way to have the laptop connect to the wireless only when a wired
is not present?

TIA- Jay

You can change the order Control Panel/Network Connections/Advanced (from
Menu)/Advanced Settings/Adapters and Bindings Tab.
