Networking Issue

Hi

I have two PC's that I would like to network together.
The problem is whenever I use the Microsft networking
wizard and create a "group" I can never see the other
PC's. Wait it gets even more weird......

Once the networking wizard completes the process I cannot
access the net, MSN, newsgroups etc. I get a Winsock
error. Has anyone else come across this problem?

I am using WinXP Pro, and networking using a Belkin
router. This worked ages ago but had to format my PC
and cannot seem to sort the networking out.
