Networking issue..cant browse my workgroup any longer

I have a home network of a few XP machines.
In File Explorer I used to be able to select...My Network Places...Microsoft
Windows Network....MSHOME and then a list of all the machines would appear.

All of a sudden when I select MSHOME I get a dialog box MSHOME is not
accessible. You might not have permission to use the network resource.....

I am logged in with administrator rights and I know there are other machines
active on the workgroup.

This effectively prevents me from accessing shared drive anywhere on my
network....

I have turned off the XPSP2 firewall to see if that helped and no dice...

Any Ideas?

One other interesting tidbit...i can still see / browse the drives that are
mapped to other PCs on the net.

I just had a similar event. I ran the network disc on both machines again
and it fixed it. Must have gotten corrupted somehow.

What is the network disk?
