We are a small not for profit and we are attempting to share documents. We are using a shared DSL internet connection and we can all access the internet. We are running XP Pro on Two computers and Home edition on Two.

We ran the wizard and choose the hub option, since we are not using any as a server, they are all just a work under the same work group. Though I have renamed all of the pc's and put them under the same work group, when I go to view network connections it shows the pc's but says the server could not be found.

I set them as work grouped computers and not servers. I am not sure what to do now. Can some on assist?

I finally am seeing all the computers it turns out that the firewall option keeps getting turned on automatically. Now, I can't get access to one computer on the network. It keeps giving us a password prompt, however, when we go into the user settings and passwords, there is no account that requires a password. Any suggestions on where to go to remove the password options? Since we have had many people in this position the password could have been put on there by a number of people. I can't find any indication of a password being in place though.
