Networking Access

I just moved my porgram from single user to multi user. I have three users
and each have FE on their computer and the BE is on my computer and I set BE
sharing to Everyone and permission Level to Co-Owner. When a user is
connected to the BE, other users are locked out and Access stalls. I also
noticed all FE databases open in locked position and a LACCDB file is
created. Any
Suggestion on how to remove these locks.

The permissions themselves should not be a problem if individually, one at a
time, each user can connect to your back end, sure, while being the only one
trying that. So, if you can check the db is reachable, I strongly suspect
the problem is not with the permissions themselves.

Check that you don't limit the number of users to 1 (one): right click on
the Back End file, to get the contextual menu, then select Sharing And
Security... About the middle top of the dialog, spot the User Limit. On a PC
which its Operating System is NOT a server, such as XP say, you are limited
to 10 connections.

Thanks for your response. The Operating system on all three computers are
Vista and When I choose Sharing & Security, I don't get the dialog with User
Limit.

I don't know enough Vista in that specific matter, sorry.

Note that User Limit per share may not be related to the problem you
experienced.
