Yes it is. Make the XP pro machine the one that will
connect to the internet. Then there is a wizard you run on
that pc to share the internet etc. You can then setup the
98 pc with a disk created in the XP wizard or just
configure it manually. I have the same set up and it works
very well. Beware of XP and Nortons Firewall issues
