Network Workgroup Issue

Ok let me give a list of PC's first to simplify:

1. Apple Mac Mini - Wired
2. HP Laptop - Windows XP Home SP2 - Wireless
3. HP Desktop - Vista Ultimate - Wireless
4. Compaq Desktop - Windows XP Pro SP2 - Wired

Netwok Equipment:

DLink - DI-634M Router - config altered to work as Access Point
NetGear - VPN Router / Switch

Setup:

All get IP's via DHCP Server from Netgear. DHCP Server has been
turned off on DLink router.
Cross over cable is plugged into DLink Router and connected to port on
NetGear Router. All, well except the Apple are in the same Window
Workgroup.

Problem:

So far I have narrowed it down to this: The two wireless PC's (#2 and
#3) can communicate via File and Print sharing. The wireless PC's (#2
and #3) cannot Ping nor communicate with the Wired Windows PC (#4).
The wireless PC's can however Ping and connect successfully to the
Apple (#1) with no problem. The Compaq (#4) can Ping the Apple PC
and connect with no problem. However, the Compaq (#4) cannot ping
either of the wireless PC's (#2 and #3).

What has been done so far:

I have changed all PC's (#2, #3, and #4) into a new workgroup.
I have run through the network setup wizard on each.
I have setup both Windows XP machines to be 'HyBrid' as PC #4 was
'Unknown'.
I have disabled the Windows Firewall and Defender on all PC's.
I have checked the event logs for Browser errors and there are what I
believe are typical errors stating that one of them wants to be
browser master etc etc.

What is wierd, is I hooked my laptop (#2) up to a wired line, disabled
the wireless, and was able to access the Compaq (#4) XP Shares with no
problem! And Visa Verca, the Compaq as albe to see and access the
Laptop shares. This was not able to happen before. I tried to
connect to the Vista PC (#3) and was not able to from the Laptop that
was able to previously communicate with it when it was using a
wireless connection.

I thought somehow that I had fixed the problem so I changed the laptop
back to using the wireless connection and disconnected the wired.
Back to the same problem.

Observation:
From both the Wireless and Wired, I am able to ping the router, access
the interent, even send IM's to each PC via Live Messenger. Also #2,
#3, and #4 can ping the Apple computer and get a response.

I initially thought it had something to do with the wireless and wired
having a problem. I connected the wierd connections all to the Dlink
router that handles my wireless connections. Still the same problem.
I am at a loss because it seems to be a Windows Issue and not a router/
network config issue.

Help!

I think the issue is they are in the different subnets and the router is one way access. Posting the results of one wireless and wired ipconfig /all may help.
